This Cookie Policy explains how UN:HURD MUSIC LIMITED ("un:hurd music", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and apps. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to unhurd.co.uk, unhurd.com, unhurdmusic.co.uk and unhurdmusic.com, including their "www" versions and subdomains, and our apps.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They let a site recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage, and in this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".

2. The types of cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookie.

Strictly necessary cookies. These are needed to run our website and Platform, for example to log you in, keep your session secure, and remember items as you move through the site. The service cannot work properly without them, so they do not require your consent.

Functional cookies. These remember your choices and preferences to give you a better experience, for example your settings or language.

Analytics cookies. These help us understand how people use our site and Platform so we can improve them, for example which pages and features are used and where problems occur.

Marketing cookies. These are used to measure and support our marketing, and may track your activity across sites. These are only ever set with your consent.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, some low-risk cookies, such as certain analytics and functionality cookies, may be set without consent, but only where they meet the conditions of the exemption. We still tell you about them here. Marketing and cross-site tracking cookies always require your consent.
